To help illustrate this, I want to share a story from a client I recently met—a mid-career professional with 15 years of varied experience. Her career path wasn't a straightforward progression; somewhat, it resembled a jungle gym, filled with diverse roles that have enriched her breadth and depth of expertise. Now, her next level and vision is a managing director role. However, her confidence wavered when she fixated on the challenges rather than her breadth of experience.

Through a 45-minute strategy session with her, we identified not just the known obstacles but also the hidden ones, such as limited visibility and networking. Together, we developed an actionable plan that matched her strengths and emphasized relationship-building to showcase her readiness for the role.
